Audiology – 100 Days Commitment – Letter to the Health, Care and Sport Committee

On 27 August 2026, the Minister for Community Care, Alison Thewliss MSP, wrote to the Health, Care and Sport Committee to provide an update on a meeting convened with NHS Heads of Service, community audiology providers and other key stakeholders, to discuss a plan for enhancing community audiology services, as part of the Scottish Government’s 100 days prospectus. This letter sets out the Scottish Government’s immediate priorities for audiology services and can be read in full below.
